In my five years at The Post, I was one of many stewards of the brand, and we often dealt with brand positioning in the mobile and emerging platform space. Modernizing such a storied and iconic brand was an ongoing endeavor, requiring hours of production design on the native app side to ensure gradient accuracy and legibility at all screen sizes. I also explored how the "WP" vs "TWP" logos were weighted and associated differently on social platforms. In each of these usages, I focused on simplicity of decorative elements to preserve the strength of the logo mark's forms.
